How to extract text

  1. Upload a clear, straight image. Crop out unrelated background first.
  2. Select the actual text language. Bengali + English can help with mixed documents.
  3. Rotate sideways images. Try document contrast mode for faded scans; keep original colors if it loses detail.
  4. Extract, proofread and download. Names, numbers and dates always need checking.

Privacy and practical limits

The OCR engine runs locally in your browser. Language data and engine files are downloaded on first use; an internet connection is needed for those assets. Images are not sent to an OCR server. Working images are limited to 8 megapixels and a 3500-pixel edge for memory use. Printed, high contrast text works best. Handwriting, decorative fonts, blurred scans and complex tables can give errors. Output contains editable text and line breaks; it does not reconstruct the original page layout.

Cancel stops recognition. TXT is UTF-8, and Word export creates an editable DOCX document. Review the extracted text before using it in forms or official documents.
