How to calculate your age
- Enter your date of birth.
- Keep today’s date or choose a different calculation date.
- Read your age in completed years and months, followed by remaining days. Results update when you change a date.
Leap years and month-end birthdays
Completed months are counted from the original birth day. If that day does not exist in a target month, the anniversary is clamped to that month’s final day. For example, 31 January to 1 March 2025 is one month and one day. A 29 February birth reaches its clamped annual anniversary on 28 February in a non-leap year. The birthday dropdown changes the countdown observance only; it does not change the calendar-age calculation.
What the totals mean
Total days count the date boundaries between birth and the calculation date, without adding an inclusive extra day. Hours and minutes are 24-hour calendar equivalents; actual birth time and daylight-saving changes are not known. Decimal years use an average year and are labelled approximate. The traditional sun sign is retained as an extra reference.
Your dates are processed locally and are not saved or sent to a server. Official applications may define their own cutoff and anniversary rules; use the date and rule requested by the application.
