Can every PDF table be converted perfectly?
Simple aligned tables work best. PDFs store text positions rather than spreadsheet cells, so complicated merged headers, overlapping text and multi-line cells can need correction. Titles and footnotes are retained as rows. Automatic extraction does not reconstruct charts, pictures or original formulas.
How do I fix incorrect columns?
Try Detect narrower gaps or Keep more words together, then extract again. For predictable boundaries, switch to Manual and enter percentages of the PDF page width: 35, 65 means columns from 0–35%, 35–65% and 65–100%. You can edit individual cells in the preview.
Will phone numbers and IDs keep their leading zero?
Keep original text is the default. Optional number recognition preserves leading-zero values and long identifiers as text. Dates and ambiguous values are left as text. Recognized numeric values can be calculated with in Excel; no formulas are inferred from the PDF.
Can I convert Bengali or scanned tables?
Select the Bengali or mixed OCR language and enable OCR. For garbled embedded-font text, use OCR every page. OCR accuracy depends on scan quality; verify row alignment, names, amounts and Bengali conjuncts before using the workbook.
